Use specialized teaching methods and tools for children and adults with learning disabilities or developmental delays. Monitor and evaluate progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as required. Collaborate with social workers, caregivers, and therapists to ensure holistic development. Maintain records of educational progress, behavior, and attendance. Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Conduct awareness and training sessions for staff and caregivers on special education practices. RequirementsSkills RequiredAbility to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Strong assessment and observation skills to monitor learning and behavior.Patience, empathy, and compassionate approach towards residents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with caregivers, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.Creativity in using teaching aids and adaptive learning methods.Strong problem -solving and decision -making abilities.Good record -keeping and documentation skills.Commitment to supporting the overall development and well -being of residents.
