Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Automation Quality Engineering Lead
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Automation Quality Engineering Lead to lead the quality assurance and test automation efforts across our engineering organization. In this role, you will be responsible for defining QA strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring our software meets the highest quality standards.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to integrate quality at every step of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
    Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks
    Define and enforce best practices for automated and manual testing, CI/CD integration, and defect tracking
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
    Own test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects and teams
    Mentor and guide a team of QA and automation engineers, promoting a quality-first mindset
    Drive adoption of automation tools and continuous testing practices
    Identify bottlenecks, track metrics, and drive improvements in QA processes
    Participate in production release validation and incident analysis to prevent regressions

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
    Proven expertise in test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
    Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java
    Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
    Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Xray)
    Solid understanding of QA methodologies (functional, regression, performance, security)
    Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
    Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
    Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
    Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices and tools like Cucumber
    Exposure to data testing, ETL validation, or ML model testing is a plus
