We are looking for a Seasoned Sr. Engineering Manager to join and lead our India Sec Ops Detection and Soc Workbench teams. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, Sec Ops. You'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating and driving the execution of roadmap for Detection Engineering and SOC workbench teams in India, aligning with organizational goals and best practices
  • Ensuring the team's high quality outputs, delivering reliable microservices, highly distributed solutions, and system reliability
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize security to ensure high availability for critical systems
  • Managing performance and personal career progression plan for all direct reports
  • Leading a team of 4-6 senior engineers

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 12+ years as an engineering leader, including 4+ years managing global engineering teams
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience leading and building solutions for Security Platforms such as EDR, NDR, XDR or SIEM
  • Strong knowledge of distributed software product architectures, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and monitoring solutions
  • Skilled in translating technical goals into results through collaboration with product managers and engineering leaders

  • Successful track record leading teams to deliver highly distributed solutions using multi-language ecosystems like Java, JavaScript, React, Python, and Go
  • Track record of taking ownership and getting high quality results in a predictable fashion
  • Strong advocate for modern practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, and Automation based delivery in large engineering organizations
