We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to strengthen our supply chain, inventory management, and fulfillment operations.

Role Overview

The
Operations Manager
will be responsible for end-to-end operations across the supply chain—from sourcing raw materials & packaging materials to maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing production planning, warehouse operations, logistics, and final delivery to customers. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the beauty/skincare industry and deep understanding of demand planning, vendor management, and omnichannel fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Procurement

• Manage sourcing of
  Raw Materials (R.M.)
  and
  Packaging Materials (P.M.)
  from approved vendors.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely availability.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts to optimize procurement costs.
• Coordinate with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure material readiness for production.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure
  no stock-outs
  across SKUs.
• Implement strong inventory control processes including forecasting, reorder levels, safety stock calculations, and cycle counts.
• Monitor daily stock movements at manufacturing units and central warehouses.
• Use inventory management tools/software to track real-time stock levels.

3. Production & Manufacturing Coordination

• Work with third-party manufacturers (TPMs) or in-house production units to plan production schedules.
• Ensure availability of R.M. & P.M. as per production timelines.
• Review production reports, batch outputs, and quality issues.

4. Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

• Oversee warehouse operations including inbound, storage, outbound, and dispatch processes.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for skincare and beauty products.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, picking accuracy, and turnaround time.
• Coordinate with 3PL partners or internal teams for timely order fulfillment.

5. Logistics & Customer Delivery

• Manage end-to-end logistics—from warehouse dispatch to customer delivery across e-commerce and retail channels.
• Monitor courier/3PL performance, delivery timelines, and return shipments (RTO/RTV).
• Resolve operational issues related to delayed shipments, damages, or delivery escalations.

6. Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support for demand forecasting, launch readiness, and stock availability.
• Support new product launches by ensuring timely procurement and production.

7. Data, Reporting & Process Optimization

• Maintain accurate operational reports including inventory MIS, procurement reports, logistics performance, and production schedules.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs and implement continuous improvements.
• Develop SOPs across operations to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in
  Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field
  ; MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in Operations/Supply Chain
  , specifically within
  Beauty, Skincare, Cosmetics, or FMCG
  sectors.
• Strong understanding of R.M. & P.M. procurement, inventory systems, demand planning, and logistics.
• Experience working with D2C brands, 3PL partners, and marketplace operations is a plus.
• Proficient in ERP/inventory software (Zoho, Unicommerce, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
