QualificationsandExperienceRequired

• 8+ years of experience in handling Active directory

KeyResponsibilities

• Around 8-10 years of overall experience on Active directory in Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016/2019.
• Manage Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, File Server, Windows Failover Cluster
• Strong experience on AD\ADFS design and Deployment and upgrade (minimum 6 years).
• Strong Experience on AD upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016.
• Strong Experience on Upgrade of CA, DHCP, RADIOUS features.
• Strong Experience on AD migration (ADMT, Quest, Binary tree).
• Very good understanding of AD forest/DNS structure.
• Hardening of the AD and related component servers.
• In-depth understanding of AD sites and replication topology.
• Planning and in-depth understanding of OU structure, GPO configuration and Management.
• Hands on experience on AD customization & various AD tools.
• Understanding and hands-on experience on Azure Disk, Azure Resource Monitoring.
• Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure traffic manager, apply security on different azure resources and application.
• Hands-on experience on availability-set & AD Disaster recovery.
• Experience in data migration using Database management service (DMS) or other tools.
• Micro-services-based architecture & design experience.
• The L3 Role involves senior level troubleshooting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for areas including, but not limited to:
• Active Directory (AD) related issues – DNS zone issues; Sites/Subnets review; Verify if AD issue is within scope identified by IT Risk team. If not, refer issue to IT Risk AD workgroup.
• Hardware – Take over for L2 team for out of warranty servers where site involvement is needed to engage OEM or 3rd party hardware support team. Own/manage/track to repair.
• Advanced server support – Own server issues outside of, or unresolvable by, L2 team skill sets
• Client support – Provide recommendations for configuration or other improvements to the environment.
• Active Directory process automation via PowerShell scripting.
