Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Java Software Architect with a strong background in system hardening and application security. This role is pivotal in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance Java-based solutions. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all application and infrastructure components meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient Java-based applications and microservices.
• Provide consulting and action plan to implement of hardening Java based server applications created by client from security point of view.
• Define security-focused architectural frameworks and standards for enterprise software solutions.
• Lead system hardening efforts at OS, application, container, and middleware levels.
• Integrate security by design principles throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to implement controls for data protection, access management, and threat prevention.
• Conduct and lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on secure coding, vulnerability mitigation, and system integrity.
• Oversee and contribute to code reviews with a focus on secure architecture and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations.
• Evaluate and introduce new security tools, libraries, and architectural patterns that enhance resilience.
• Design and document software architecture diagrams, security models, and API contracts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an architect or technical lead role.
• Deep proficiency in Java (Java 11/17), Spring 3.X/Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.
• Practical know-how or certification in software security aspects, in secure development in java and in system hardening
• Proven experience in system hardening (Linux/Unix environments, middleware security, container hardening).
• In-depth knowledge of application security, secure SDLC, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube)
• Experience designing applications to prevent vulnerabilities like those identified in the OWASP Top 10.
• Strong grasp of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-native security models (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
