Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance and administration team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with monthly reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and ledgers.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain petty cash and reconcile daily/weekly cash flow.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
- Prepare purchase orders, bills, and payment vouchers.
- Maintain documentation and ensure proper filing of financial records.
- Support the finance team in audits and compliance-related tasks.
- Assist with payroll data preparation, staff expense claims, and reimbursements.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for financial clarity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers with strong skills may apply).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory management or project accounting.
