Qualification & Experience:

Graduate with PG / Diploma in Import/Export management & 7-10 yrs in export in similar/ garment /export industry

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

Ø Good influential skills

Ø Good communication skills

Ø Excellent knowledge on latest export/import rules & regulations

Ø Well versed with MS Excel

Job Description:

Export Documentation and Process

Ø Preparation of GSP and online submission with EIC

Ø Prepare error free processing of documents for Air Export/import

Ø Regularly co-ordinate and negotiate with clearing and forwarding agents to ensure smooth process and timely delivery

Ø Smooth execution of export orders

Ø Prepare and manage documents for free samples to clients on a regular basis

Ø Prepare and handle of monthly export documents and invoices of clients

Ø Handle commercials and courier shipments

Ø Track and record export & import shipments

Ø Preparing documents to submit to Indo German required for European countries

Ø Knowledge of software used by companies like UPS, DHL, Fedex etc for generating online airway bills

Ø Monitor Import as well as export consignment dispatched to clients with Shipping companies, Forwarder (DHL, UPS, FEDEX etc)

Ø Claiming export incentives from DGFT or custom authority

Ø Ensure successful execution of order on time, cost and technical performance

MIS

Ø Prepare weekly / monthly MIS and present the status to the Head of Export

Relationship Management with Courier & Shipping Agents

Ø Handle commercials and courier shipments

Ø Regularly track and record export & import shipments

Ø Prepare documents to submit to Indo German required for European countries

Ø Knowledge of software used by companies like UPS, DHL, Fedex etc for generating online airway bills

Ø Daily track and follow-up on Import as well as export consignment dispatched to clients with Shipping companies, Forwarder (DHL, UPS, FEDEX etc)

Ø Maintain excellent relations with the courier and shipping agents for easy clearance

Ø Keep abreast on the recent rules and regulations from them.

Team Management

Ø Should have the ability to effectively and efficiently manage a team of Export Officers

Ø Ensure minimal attrition

Ø Provide thorough training to the team members; mentor and guide them on regular basis

Ø Create strong back-ups within the department
