Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient
Billing Associate
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate invoices, maintaining billing records, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely receipt of payments. This role requires strong numerical skills, good communication, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and generate invoices accurately and on time.
  • Review purchase orders, job work details, and supporting documents before billing.
  • Maintain and update customer billing records in the system.
  • Verify GST, pricing, quantities, and terms before invoice creation.
  • Handle billing queries from clients and resolve discrepancies professionally.
  • Track outstanding payments and follow up for timely collections.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and dispatch teams for smooth billing flow.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all billing-related records.
  • Assist in generating financial reports related to billing and collections.
  • Support audits by providing necessary billing documents when required.

Required Skill and Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts, or administrative finance roles (freshers can also apply).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and billing/accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of GST and invoicing rules.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
