Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru South for a Selenium Automation Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, executing test cases, preparing detailed test reports, and identifying areas of improvement in the software development lifecycle. Troubleshooting test failures, ensuring the quality of applications, and adhering to industry best practices in automation testing are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Selenium, Java, and experience with other automation testing tools
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools
  • Experience in integrating test scripts with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or Git
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
  • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize test scripts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with development and QA teams
  • Relevant certifications in automation testing or quality assurance are an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
