The role of the Senior Manager: Sales is akin to that of a First Officer (FO) in a flight; where the FO works with the Captain (Founder) by monitoring the teams under him, handling B2B relations, watching for gaps in training if any, and taking over the flight controls when directed by the captain.
Scope of work
● Strategy development and implementation in Business Development to achieve brand goals
● Build and lead the teams to establish a pan-India presence
● P&L Management for the Marketing, Communication and Business Development departments
● Ensuring customer delight is delivered at all brand touchpoints
● Identifying training opportunities for the front end team to maximise sales
● Representing the company at trade shows, conferences and corporate meets
● Identifying valuable associations and alliances to maximise profit
● Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
● Would be responsible for the pre-launch and post launch strategy implementation for the brand
Desired Skills and Experience
The person must have a minimum of 6 years experience in the industry, with a background in Marketing or Strategy. The person should have led a team. Planning as well as Marketing skills are essential for the role.
Key deliverables
● Monthly impact reports of the activities undertaken in Marketing, Communications and Business Development
● Generate customer insight and apply these learnings to the strategy ahead
