We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for Orbit Serviced Apartments, a premium serviced apartment business in Khar West, Mumbai.

The role primarily focuses on Orbit's hospitality operations, along with maintaining accounts for a few other associated businesses and entities.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Tally, GST, reconciliations, and finalization, and should be looking for a long-term, stable position.

Responsibilities

  • Collect daily invoices and payment details from the front desk
  • Record and maintain all entries in Tally
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure booking payments are received
  • Track vendor payments and manage receivables/payables
  • Handle GST (3B, D3A) and other compliance filings
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries for management
  • Coordinate with the company's CA for quarterly and annual finalization
  • Manage a few additional related company accounts as part of routine work

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (hospitality background preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Tally, Excel, and GST compliance
  • Punctual, organized, and reliable
  • Able to manage accounts independently and accurately
  • Based in Mumbai (preferably near Khar West)
