Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering linens, uniforms, and guest laundry items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines efficiently.
• Sort and separate laundry according to fabric type, color, and washing instructions.
• Check for stains, damages, and repair needs before washing.
• Ensure proper chemical usage and machine settings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.
• Handle guest laundry with care and as per company standards.
• Keep records of laundry items processed daily.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.
• Prior experience in laundry operations (hotel, hospital, or industrial) preferred.
• Basic knowledge of detergents, washing machines, and fabric care.
• Physically fit and able to lift or move laundry loads.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Work Conditions:

• Duty hours: 10–12 hours (as per workload).
• Overtime applicable after 12 hours.
• PF & ESIC benefits as per company policy.

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
