Production Management

• Monitor day-to-day loom operations to ensure smooth and continuous production.
• Achieve production targets as per shift or daily plans.
• Reduce loom downtime by addressing issues quickly.

2. Machine & Process Supervision

• Oversee the performance of rapier looms and ensure optimal running efficiency.
• Adjust machine settings (speed, tension, picks per inch, etc.) according to fabric specifications.
• Ensure correct style changeover procedures.

3. Quality Control

• Inspect woven fabric to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and minimize fabric defects (broken picks, missing ends, oil stains, double picks, etc.).
• Ensure proper warp and weft quality before running the loom.

4. Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure lubrication and cleaning schedules are followed.
• Report and log mechanical/electrical issues.

5. Workforce Supervision

• Supervise weavers, fitters, helpers, and operators.
• Assign tasks, train new workers, and monitor performance.
• Ensure safety rules and discipline in the department.

6. Material Management

• Ensure timely availability of warp beams, weft packages, and other consumables.
• Check proper creeping and knotting operations.
• Monitor yarn usage and reduce waste.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production, downtime, efficiency, and defect reports.
• Record maintenance activities and shift handover notes.
• Support audits and provide required data.

8. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards in the weaving section.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions.
• Conduct safety briefings for staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
