We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented Plant HR professional with 5 to 10 years of experience to drive all HR initiatives at the unit level. The role involves managing the entire spectrum of HR functions from talent acquisition and employee relations to performance management, compliance, and HR operations — ensuring a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between corporate HR and the plant team, fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for the plant, including manpower planning, sourcing, interviews, and selection.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees and trainees.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR to align hiring with organizational needs.

2. Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Design and implement engagement activities to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, grievance handling, and welfare initiatives.
  • Foster healthy communication channels between employees, line managers, and management.

3. Performance Management & Development

  • Facilitate goal-setting, mid-year, and annual performance reviews.
  • Support identification of training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
  • Partner with line managers to drive capability-building programs.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data.
  • Ensure statutory compliance under labor laws and liaise with government authorities as required.
  • Handle payroll inputs, attendance, and leave administration.

5. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and manpower cost.
  • Present insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.

6. Policy Implementation & Process Improvement

  • Implement HR policies and procedures in line with company and statutory guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes for better efficiency and employee satisfaction.

  • Proven experience in handling employee relations and compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS tools or ERP systems.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
