Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor located in Vadodara. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. They will work closely with the creative team to ensure that the vision of the final product is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform raw technical and educational footage into visually appealing and entertaining content.
  • Edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full-length YouTube and podcast episodes.
  • Add sound, graphics, and special effects to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver on the vision.
  • Stay updated with current video editing trends and techniques to keep content fresh.
  • Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and backups for an efficient workflow.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Review final outputs to ensure top-notch quality, including proper resolution, color correction, and sound clarity.
  • Take constructive feedback and incorporate changes effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a basic understanding of After Effects (knowledge of other editing software is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of video production processes and industry best practices.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to bring visual stories to life.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and handle constructive feedback.

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing
