Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Prior experience with various accounting software and financial management systems is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Tally and other relevant platforms
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with organisational policies
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls
  • Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed
  • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on financial processes and best practices
  • Contribute to the optimisation of financial management systems and procedures
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting future financial needs

Skills

  • Proven experience with accounting software including Tally or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of financial services, financial accounting, and financial management principles
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated mentoring abilities to support team development
  • Proficiency in accounts payable processes and general ledger management
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
