Role Description
The Executive Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves the overall management of kitchen operations, including menu planning, quality control, and the preparation and presentation of diverse cuisines. Responsibilities include maintaining food safety standards, supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction through culinary excellence. Collaboration with other departments to align kitchen activities with the hotel's goals is also expected.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Culinary Arts, with a focus on diverse cuisines and innovative menu planning
- Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise and mentor kitchen staff
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, including time management, organization, and cost control
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance and quality assurance
- Experience in creating exceptional dining experiences and maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic work environment
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in managing kitchens in hotels or upscale restaurants is an advantage
