About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with a passion for quality and a strong understanding of software testing practices. As part of our QA team, you will be involved in manual and basic automation testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and stability of our FinTech products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Perform regression, functional, UI/UX, and integration testing.
  • Assist in setting up test environments and test data.
  • Contribute to basic automation scripts (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with FinTech-specific standards such as security, data validation, and workflow accuracy.

Required Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in software QA/testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, ClickUp).
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium (added advantage).
  • Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of payment flows, transaction lifecycle, UPI, wallets, or banking systems.
  • Understanding of security and compliance requirements in FinTech.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
