Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 
    hardware-level debugging
     of complex PCBs (flex/rigid-flex/multilayer).
  • Handle 
    soldering and rework of BGA, QFN, and fine-pitch components
     using reflow stations and hot-air tools.
  • Use tools such as 
    oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers
    to isolate issues.
  • Perform 
    failure analysis (FA)
     and root cause identification.
  • Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to communicate debug findings.
  • Document debug procedures, rework steps, and failure modes in clear technical reports.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper ESD handling protocols.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years
     of hands-on experience in 
    hardware debugging and BGA rework
    .
  • Proven experience using 
    BGA rework stations
    .
  • Ability to read and interpret 
    schematics, layout files
    , and component datasheets.
  • Experience with 
    IPC standards for soldering/rework
     (e.g., IPC-7711/21 certification preferred).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in both digital and analog domains.
  • Experience working with 
    test jigs and custom test fixtures
     is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

  • BTech/ Diploma in Electronics Engineering
