Job Title: EXPEDITOR

Job Location: DUBAI

Experience: 5 years of Experience

Salary Package: 8000 AED+ transportation and Medical Insurance

 Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years of Experience
  • Proven work experience as an Expeditor or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery 
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Educational Qualification- minimum bachelor's degree relevant to the field
  • Prefer candidates who can join immediately.
  • Must speak English. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Go through the terms and conditions of the Purchase Order once received from Purchasing Dept.  (Check the supplier Order Conformation thoroughly is in line with our PO, report any inaccuracies & confirm delivery is in line with requirements) --- Order Confirmation to be uploaded in ERP & update status of activity done in ERP status update.
  • In case of deviation –between the submitted offer and Purchase Order coordinate with the Buyer. 
  • Follow up on order acknowledgment.
  • Amendment of PO in case of changes, Subject to approval by Dept. Manager / Branch Manager.
  • In case of LC issue LC application and submit the same to the accounts dept via ERP. 
  • Follow up on orders and update ERP (status update) on every follow-up.
  • Inspection notification to be issued via ERP to QA dept.
  • Prepare shipping entry in ERP on receipt of the shipping advice from the supplier.
  • Follow up on shipping and clearing documents from the supplier on time, well in advance before the vessel arrives.
  • Any other clarification related to MTC, Short shipment, damage of material – liaising with QA dept. and suppliers. 
  • General correspondence related to orders and inquiries. (also, to be updated in status update of ERP)
  • Maintain healthy and strong relationships with the suppliers.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with ERP system practices.
  • Updating Daily Task Reports in ERP

Responsible for completing any other work assigned by Department Manager / Branch Manager / Management
