Job Purpose

To ensure statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and timely completion of audits and tax filings. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax compliances, preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS, supporting statutory and internal audits, overseeing accounts payable, and contributing to financial planning and reporting activities.

Income Tax Return & Tax Audit:

• Coordinate and ensure timely completion of tax audit, including preparation of required data, schedules, and reconciliations.
• File annual income tax returns within statutory timelines.
• GST Compliance & Audit:
• File accurate and complete monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Facilitate GST audit by preparing reconciliations and responding to auditor queries.
• Ensure timely payment of GST and resolution of related notices.
• TDS/TCS Compliance:
• Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns.
• File annual Income Tax Return and respond to tax notices, if any.

KRA2 Audit Support

Limited Review & Statutory Audit:

• Prepare necessary reports and schedules for Limited Review and Annual Audit.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit points.
• Prepare annual financial statements as per Ind AS and Schedule III requirements.
• Internal Audit:
• Coordinate internal audit activities by providing timely data and documentation.
• Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal control processes.
• Related Party Transactions (RPT):
• Ensure timely documentation and quarterly audit of related party transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for audit and compliance requirements.

KRA3 Financial Management & Reporting

Accounts Payable & Cost Allocation:

• Monitor accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy in bill processing and timely vendor payments.
• Supervise bill uploading operations and ensure proper cost allocation to Lines of Business (LOBs).
• Capitalization of Projects & Asset Management:
• Monitor ongoing projects and ensure timely capitalization upon completion.
• Conduct periodic physical verification and tagging of fixed assets; reconcile variances.
• Financial Consolidation & Reporting:
• Upload financial data in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) as per reporting timelines.
• Prepare periodic Board presentations highlighting financial performance and key developments.
• Budgeting & Borrowing Support:
• Coordinate annual budgeting process, including allocation to LOBs and coordination with departments.
• Compile and submit documents related to borrowings to HDFC Bank and HPFS for working capital and term loans.

KRA4 Employee Claims & Other Responsibilities

Employee TA Bill Review & Settlement:

• Review employee Travel & Allowance (TA) bills for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Ensure timely approval and settlement of claims.
• Other Assignments:
• Undertake any other tasks, projects, or special assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Experience: 46 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, audit, and financial reporting.
• Industry Exposure: Experience in corporate finance or audit firms preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and HFM
