Job Overview

The Sales Intern position at Diman Solar is an excellent opportunity for a fresher looking to gain valuable experience in the Solar Electric Power Generation industry. Located in Ahmedabad, this full-time role involves learning and contributing to the sales team. Ideal candidates should possess an interest in sales, renewable energy, and developing strong customer relationships. No prior experience is required, although candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome. This role also includes field work, providing hands-on experience in customer interactions and boosting sales engagements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Lead generation (Mandatory skill) - Ability to identify and target potential customers effectively.
  • Cold calling (Mandatory skill) - Excellent phone communication skills for engaging new prospects.
  • Customer relationship management (Mandatory skill) - Competence in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM software - Experience using tools to manage client interactions and sales processes.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce - Utilizing Salesforce for organizing customer information and tracking sales opportunities.
  • Email marketing platforms - Skill in developing and executing email marketing campaigns to engage customers.
  • Data analysis - Ability to interpret sales data and consumer feedback for strategic decision-making.
  • Networking - Developing and leveraging a personal network to create sales opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of lead generation strategies to identify potential clients.
  • Conduct cold calls to initiate and nurture relationships with prospective customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings and provide insights on market trends and customer demands.
  • Utilize CRM software to document interactions with clients and track the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to formulate effective sales approaches.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Attend networking events and actively seek to promote Diman Solar products and services.
  • Support senior sales staff in client presentations and negotiations as needed.
  • Conduct field work to directly engage with customers and understand their needs.
