Job Description – Project Engineer (RCC)Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily site execution of RCC works, including foundations, slabs, columns, shear walls, core walls, beams, and other structural components.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely completion and alignment with design and quality parameters.
  • Monitor workflow, manpower distribution, and work allocation to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, site discipline, and statutory norms during all construction activities.
  • Read, interpret, and execute work as per structural drawings, GFC drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on shuttering, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, curing, and post-casting activities.
  • Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), site measurements, bar bending schedules (BBS), and material requirement plans.
  • Coordinate with the Planning & PMC teams for scheduling, material follow-ups, and resolving execution-related issues.
  • Assist in inspection and approvals with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.
  • Maintain documentation related to QA/QC, site work records, checklists, RA bills, and work permits.
  • Identify site constraints and propose corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between RCC, Finishing, and MEP teams for interface works.
  • Track material consumption, wastage control, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Report any discrepancies, design issues, or technical challenges to the Project Manager promptly.
