Video Editor - Creative Project (1-3 Months)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team for an engaging and dynamic content creation project. This is an initial 1-month engagement with the potential to extend to 3 months based on performance and project needs.

Project Description: You will be responsible for editing high-quality, engaging video content that showcases creative storytelling and professional production standards. The work will involve creating polished, compelling videos designed for social media and digital platforms.

Educational/Tutorial Long-Form Videos
• Structured, clear narrative flow


• On-screen demonstrations and graphics


• Chapter markers and intuitive pacing


• Clear audio mixing with B-roll integration


• Professional intro/outro sequences

Content Types You'll Be Editing: Social Media Reels


• Fast-paced, attention-grabbing content


• Trend-oriented editing with dynamic transitions


• Optimized for platform algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)


• Professional color grading and sound design

Key Responsibilities


• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content


• Apply professional color correction and color grading


• Sound design and audio mixing


• Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, and effects


• Maintain consistent branding and visual style across all videos


• Optimize content for various social media platforms


• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards


• Collaborate with content creators and project stakeholders


• Provide feedback and creative suggestions for content improvement

Required Skills & Experience


• Minimum 1 years of professional video editing experience


• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)


• Strong understanding of pacing, narrative flow, and storytelling


• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects


• Excellent color grading and correction skills


• Knowledge of audio mixing and sound design basics


• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency with fast-paced, engaging content


• Familiarity with social media video optimization


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Ability to take creative direction and implement feedback

Technical Requirements


• High-speed internet connection for file transfers and collaboration


• Powerful workstation capable of handling 4K video editing


• Professional editing software licenses


• External storage solutions for large video files

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience with AI-assisted editing tools


• Knowledge of animation and motion design


• Experience with live-action editing for educational content


• Familiarity with YouTube optimization and analytics
