Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications and services.
  • Define data models and design relational database schemas to meet business needs.
  • Write efficient, optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and availability of database operations.
  • Perform code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams, product owners, QA, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Refactor and optimize existing code and database queries for performance and maintainability.
  • Document designs, API contracts, database schemas, and help maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, sprints, deployments and maintenance.
