Job Summary:

The Continental Commis 2 assists in the preparation and cooking of a variety of continental dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role supports senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations and helps maintain consistency and efficiency in the section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes such as pasta, grills, sauces, soups, salads, and baked items.
  • Support the Commis 1 and Chef de Partie in mise-en-place and daily food production.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines to maintain standardization.
  • Ensure all raw materials and ingredients are properly measured, handled, and stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workstation at all times in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies as per FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
  • Report shortages, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the senior chef.
  • Help in minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
  • Maintain professional behavior and teamwork within the kitchen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
