Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Strategy and Operations. The person will be responsible for overseeing the operations, business planning, leading the team, and financial management of the organization. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to drive strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Help the team in better sourcing of produce from the farm level
  • Provide inspired leadership company-wide.
  • Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Report to the board of directors and keep them informed.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan.
  • Develop the company's culture and overall company vision.
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
  • Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations
  • Working together with key participants to compile the budget
  • Driving the company's operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
  • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses
  • Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
Requirement:
  • Experience in the agriculture sector 
  • 2 years of experience managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations, and strategies.
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise.
  • Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully.
  • Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
  • Ability to make business projections three years into the future.
