Job Description:

Position: Quality Manager (01 No)

Educational Qualifications: BE (Mech.)/DME

Desired Experience: 10+ years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in the Automobile industry.

CTC: up to 10.00 Lac.

Skills Set required/Job Profile :

  • Periodically review the adherence to quality standards by external vendors; devise plans for addressing any discrepancies
  • Review quality reports on the performance of external vendors on quality standards, including raw material inspection, service quality, etc.
  • Drive coordination with Customer Care and Coordinating & Monitoring team
  • Resolve customer complaints related to product quality. Oversee investigation and interactions with production, design and development  teams to address the root causes of such quality complaints
  • Monitor investigation of warranty/replacement issues (as and when required) and warranty costs
  • Handle and coordinate customer visits to the organization and periodically review vendor ratings based on feedback on Quality Control observations
  • Identify and implement the Manufacturing Engineering and Process Excellence initiatives in conjunction with the production team. Suggest opportunities for quality improvement, cost reduction and process improvements across various stages of manufacturing
  • Develop Operational Excellence activities like Kaizen, poka-yoke, TQM, QC tools and coordinate with the production team for uniform implementation
  • Liaison with clients/projects team for periodic inspection of products/projects
  • Review and validate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols for business processes/departments
  • Ensure strict adherence to all statutory requirements in the quality compliance as per all regulatory requirements and standards like ISO, TS, OHSAS, and TPM
  • Study the consolidated analysis & reports by Quality Control to analyze the trend data and devise control mechanisms to address the same
