Position Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: All Over Mumbai

Role Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational excellence, team performance, and achievement of financial targets. The role requires strong leadership, people management skills, and a deep understanding of QSR operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Monitor food preparation, equipment functioning, and cleanliness following QSR protocols.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
  • Optimize speed of service and drive operational efficiencies.

2. Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant team members and shift supervisors.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Promote a positive work culture focused on teamwork and customer service.

3. Customer Experience

  • Ensure all guests receive quick, friendly, and high-quality service.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements where required.

4. Financial Management

  • Manage restaurant P&L including sales, labor costs, food costs, and controllables.
  • Analyze daily/weekly financial reports to drive improvements.
  • Support in meeting sales targets through local store marketing and upselling strategies.
  • Control inventory, minimize wastage, and ensure accurate stock management.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce compliance with local labor laws and brand operational guidelines.
  • Ensure proper food safety procedures including HACCP and temperature logs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for both customers and employees.

6. Administration

  • Complete daily/weekly reports, audits, and documentation.
  • Manage cash handling processes and deposits.
  • Coordinate with vendors, maintenance, and external service providers.

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of managerial experience in the QSR industry.
  • Experience in managing high-volume restaurants is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of QSR systems, POS, and inventory software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
