Hiring: Mechanical Engineering Co-Founder (VTVL Rocket Project)

Location: Bangalore / Hosur

Commitment: Full-time, founder level ownership

We are building India's first student-led VTVL rocket, a throttleable and regeneratively cooled engine program backed by a fast growing engineering team.

To move faster, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Co-Founder who is strong in simulations, CAD, and real-world manufacturing.

What you will take ownership of

• Mechanical design for propulsion, structures and mechanisms

• High fidelity simulations using ANSYS, CFD tools, Abaqus or similar

• Expert level CAD modeling and assemblies in SolidWorks, Fusion360, CATIA or Creo

• Converting designs to manufactured hardware, including machining, tolerances and DFM

• Close collaboration with electronics, controls and propulsion teams

• Rapid prototyping, testing and iterative development

You are a great fit if you:

• Are strong in CFD and thermal or structural FEA

• Have taken a part from CAD to simulation to actual manufacturing

• Prefer solving problems from first principles

• Enjoy building more than talking
