SDE Backend Lead

As a Software Development Engineer Lead - Backend, they will be responsible to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify & maintain existing systems for adaptation to business or technology changes. They will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Their goal will be to ensure that the product being built is of high quality to attract the potential customers thus increasing our company's profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services.
• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack.
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Java, Spring boot, MySQL, and Microservices
• Working experience in cloud environments AWS
• Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems
• Up to date with latest trends, techniques, and technologies
• Prowess in MS-Office
• Preferred Requirements:
• Good knowledge of Javascript, React, Redux
• Certification related to Software (if any)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Official Notice Period or Last working day of lesser than 30 days 
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Java and Springboot and working on them in the current project
• Atleast years of Team leading experience as an official Team Lead designation
• Handson experience in AWS and Microservices
• Willing to work from the office 5 days a week
• Willing to work in a startup
• Bachelor's/ Master's or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field
