Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with kidney-related disorders and diseases, including chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and transplant follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disorders.
- Provide care for patients on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and those undergoing kidney transplantation.
- Monitor and manage fluid and electrolyte imbalances.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as blood and urine tests, ultrasound, and kidney biopsies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and other medical professionals for comprehensive kidney care.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in on-call duties and hospital rounds as required.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and medical ethics.
Requirements:
- DM or DNB in Nephrology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license and registration.
- Proven experience in managing patients with renal conditions.
- Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with dialysis unit management.
- Familiarity with renal transplant protocols and post-operative care.
- Research experience or interest in nephrology advancements.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
