KloudPortal Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd., is seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong automation experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that support high-quality software delivery across our digital banking ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in C#, Selenium, .NET, API testing, and experience working with CIAM authentication workflows. Experience with financial or banking platformsespecially Corillian—is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems using C#, Selenium, and .NET technologies.
  • Enhance test coverage by implementing automation across CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
  • Validate CIAM authentication flows, identity management logic, and access control implementations.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Develop scalable test suites for regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end validation.
  • Build and execute automated test cases for Corillian and other digital banking applications.
  • Create, manage, and optimize database queries to support test scenarios and data validation.
  • Conduct API testing using tools/frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestSharp, or custom C# libraries).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product managers, and QA teams.
  • Track, analyze, and report defects using standard tools and ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in quality engineering processes, tooling, and automation strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience as an Automation SDET or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET (Core or Framework), and Visual Studio IDE.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
  • Solid understanding of API automation and RESTful services testing.
  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience validating CIAM / Authentication / Authorization flows (OAuth, SAML, MFA, OpenID Connect).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation strategies, and SDLC best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Corillian online banking platform.
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services domain.
  • Experience with performance testing tools or security testing practices.
  • Knowledge of microservices testing and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Role & responsibilities
