Main Purpose: This position will be responsible to assist overall BMC operations and shoulder the responsibilities of BMC IN charge for BMC (Bulk Milk Cooling) operations at the assigned location.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for smooth & efficient execution of overall BMCs / CCs operations & its staff w.r.t Plant, Machinery, equipment, CIP, housekeeping & hygiene, timely milk receiving and its dispatch.

  2. Responsible to perform milk receiving work at BMCs / CCs on morning and evening as per the prescribed route timing including tanker loading and dispatch under the instruction of BMC/CC In charge/Company Authorized Person.

  3. To ensure timely and accurate receipt of milk and maintaining record of milk received from the MPPs as well as to ensure minimum variance in Fat & SNF, accurate financial record of sour-curd drained / destroyed milk received from MPP to BMC/CC within the prescribed limits and norms and its timely reporting to superiors.

  4. To ensure complete adherence to the entire milk receiving process as per the company SOPs, Policies, Guidelines, and Directives and avoid manual intervention / deviation from the processes.

  5. Responsible to perform required milk testing / grading procedures as per the SOPs at the BMC/CC during milk receiving and dispatch process as per companys requirement.

  6. Responsible to assist in various compliance audits (MPP/BMC/CC), coordination for AMCs of routine maintenance & operation of equipment's at the BMC/CC (during major technical failure also), maintaining BMC/CC uptime as well as timely calibration of BMC/CC measuring equipment's and maintain its record and timely status updates to BMC/CC IN charge.

  7. Responsible to ensure timely milk related data/MIS generation as per shift from RMRD, MMD tag from SAP, computers and report should be prepared per the milk bill payment cycle / schedule

  8. Responsible for preparing and maintaining overall documentation of BMC/CC records, all applicable various compliance registers related to milk data, sour curd milk register, tanker register, equipment's record, ISO records, hygiene registers etc. and its timely reporting

  9. Daily reporting to BMC/CC In charge regarding healthiness of all measuring equipment's of BMC/CC

  10. Responsible for variance from BMC to Plant.

  11. Responsible for receiving good quality milk and do standard testing/ grading and also responsible for tanker rejections.

  12. Any other work assigned from time to time by the company.
