We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound Senior Electrical Engineer – Plant to join our engineering team for an industrial manufacturing project. The role involves overseeing the design interface, installation, testing, and commissioning of all plant electrical systems, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of plant electrical systems including LT/HT panels, MCCs, transformers, motors, DG sets, UPS, and earthing systems.
  • Review and approve electrical design documents, cable schedules, SLDs, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, and site teams for timely execution.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, IEEE, and CEA standards.
  • Conduct power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination.
  • Support plant operations team in troubleshooting and reliability improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports, inspection documentation, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and electrical safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Industry: Industrial Projects
  • Qualification: BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, and protection systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage contractors and ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordination and problem-solving skills.
