About the Role

This role is for someone who knows how to turn enquiries into real business. You'll deal with customers, understand their requirements, suggest the right roofing and steel solutions, and close deals without pushing. The job needs market awareness, product knowledge, and the ability to build trust with contractors, builders, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily inbound enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, and walk-ins
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products like roofing sheets, PUF panels, decking sheets, fasteners, purlins, and accessories
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and convert them into orders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, contractors, and site engineers
  • Coordinate with the production and dispatch team to ensure timely delivery
  • Track sales pipeline, maintain CRM entries, and update customer records
  • Identify new business opportunities in local and regional markets
  • Conduct field visits when required to understand site conditions and customer needs
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends and share actionable insights
  • Support marketing activities such as expos, customer meets, and product demos

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to explain technical products in simple terms
  • Basic knowledge of roofing sheets, coils, PUF panels, and related materials (training will be given)
  • Good follow-up discipline and CRM usage
  • Quick problem-solving and customer-handling skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp Business, email)

Qualifications

  • Any degree or diploma
  • Experience in steel, roofing, or construction materials is an added advantage
  • Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
