About Quantique Minds
Quantique Minds is a Bengaluru-based AI consultancy founded by Fortune 500 alumni, on a bold mission to digitally transform 10,000 Indian enterprises by 2030. We specialize in revenue-first solutions that deliver measurable impact from Day 1, combining deep expertise in AI, digital transformation, and custom software development. Our team brings over 100 years of combined experience across BFSI, product engineering, and global business strategy. At Quantique Minds, speed of execution, customer success, and sustainable growth are core to everything we do.
As part of our Engineering team, you'll work alongside passionate developers, product strategists, and designers who thrive on crafting scalable, high-quality solutions that power our customers' success.
About the Role
We're looking for a QA Engineer who can bridge the gap between development and deployment — ensuring that every product release is stable, secure, and smooth. You'll be deeply involved in defining test strategies, building robust automation suites, identifying potential weak spots before users ever notice them, and upholding our product reliability standards.
In a SaaS environment, where uptime, scalability, and data integrity are paramount, your role will be critical to the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Ownership
- Define, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Take ownership of quality across the release cycle from feature ideation to production deployment.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to ensure requirements clarity and test coverage.
2. Manual & Automated Testing
- Perform manual/automated testing for new features, regression cycles, and bug verification.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (depending on project scope).
- Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
3. Performance & Security Testing
- Conduct load, stress, and performance testing for critical SaaS modules.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to monitor system reliability, API response times, and error rates.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend QA best practices to enhance test efficiency.
- Contribute to the evolution of testing frameworks, documentation standards, and QA automation strategies.
- Actively participate in retrospectives, bringing insights on quality metrics and release health.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Log, track, and verify bugs in tools like Jira, Linear, or ClickUp.
- Communicate test results, risks, and coverage metrics clearly to stakeholders.
- Partner with developers to perform root cause analysis on recurring defects.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance, ideally in a SaaS or Cloud-native environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in functional, regression, and system testing both in front end and backend systems.
- Hands-on expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker.
- Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and basic JavaScript or Python scripting for automation.
- Experience testing across browsers, devices, and environments.
Bonus Skills
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
- Knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes, or AWS/Azure infrastructure.
- Experience in security testing or working with penetration testing teams.
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Ability to work independently with deep attention to detail with a structured approach to testing.
- Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly and diplomatically.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, agile SaaS environment.
- Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and clean releases.
