The
Sales Team Lead
will be responsible for driving daily sales operations, managing a team of
Telecallers
and
Business Development Executives
, and ensuring monthly admission targets are consistently achieved. This role requires strong leadership, performance tracking, and the ability to guide the team toward high conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and supervise
Telecallers
and
BDEs
to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets. - Conduct daily morning huddles &
6 PM performance review meetings
. - Maintain discipline, punctuality, and productivity across the team.
Sales Operations
- Track daily
calls, demos booked, demos attended, and admissions closed
. - Review the CRM pipeline and assign fresh leads to team members.
- Ensure follow-ups are done as per deadlines and scripts.
Training & Quality
- Train team on calling scripts, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Conduct regular skill improvement sessions.
Performance Management
- Monitor individual & team KPIs (call volume, demo conversions, admissions).
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Strategy & Process
- Improve sales processes, follow-up structure, and conversion strategies.
- Work closely with the CRM specialist to maintain accurate lead tracking.
Coordination
- Coordinate with marketing for lead quality.
- Support management in planning admissions campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of sales team-handling experience
(preferably in EdTech, tele-sales, or inside sales). - Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate underperforming team members.
- Strong understanding of
CRM systems, pipelines, and target management
. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- High energy, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Profile
- Experience managing telecalling or admissions teams.
- Strong objection handling & closing skills.
- Telugu, English (mandatory), Hindi (added advantage).
