Job Title: Illustrator (Comic Art – Pull Tab Games)

About the Role

We're looking for a talented Illustrator with a strong comic art portfolio who can work across different styles—from realistic to toony—and transform ideas into striking, print-ready artwork that excites players and drives engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and versatility in typography, color, and composition. You'll collaborate closely with creative leads, product managers, and compliance teams to deliver exceptional artwork that meets both artistic and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop themes, characters, illustrations, typography, and color palettes based on creative briefs, tailored specifically for paper pull-tab print products.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to brainstorm ideas and create concept art.
  • Research themes by gathering visual references and understanding the target audience.
  • Create rough color concepts and final, production-ready artwork.
  • Apply a deep knowledge of CMYK, Pantone, bleeds, trapping, and overprint in preparing print files.
  • Ensure all designs comply with technical and creative standards.
  • Respond positively to feedback and maintain quality under tight timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Illustrator with a strong comic art portfolio.
  • Ability to work across multiple styles—from realistic to toony.
  • Strong foundation in illustration, typography, composition, and small-format layouts.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with solid experience in Photoshop.
  • Understanding of print workflows including CMYK, Pantone, prepress, and proofing.
  • Excellent English communication skills to collaborate with creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
