Production Supervisor-Navi Mumbai(Koperkhairane)

We have an urgent opening for the post of Production Supervisor for a reputed FMCG Company for their office at Navi Mumbai(Koperkhairane).

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day production activities in our food processing unit. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food processing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and resource utilization.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality food products.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement and maintain food safety standards.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate production staff to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
• Address performance issues promptly and conduct regular performance reviews.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Investigate and report any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Work closely with the safety committee to promote a culture of safety within the production unit.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials.

Presentation:

• Proficient in delivering clear, concise, and engaging presentations on Food Processing Unit functionality and benefits to diverse audiences and Key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech in Food Technology (2-3 years of experience highly preferred)
• Any graduation with 2-3 years of food processing experience
• Diploma in Food Technology/Diploma in Production Engineering (3 years of experience in food processing

Preferred Experience:

• Processing manufacturing highly preferred) Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food Processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Familiarity with production planning and inventory management.

Working Hours:

• Required to work six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, and must be open to flexible shift changes on both a weekly and fortnightly basis.
