Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales & Service Engineer who will be responsible for driving B2B machine sales, providing technical sales support, and ensuring effective post-sales service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and conduct price negotiations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Service & Technical Support
- Handle installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites.
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
- Provide training to customer operators and technical staff.
- Maintain strong after-sales relationships for repeat and referral business.
Market & Customer Management
- Track competitor activities and industry trends.
- Maintain detailed sales and service reports in CRM/ERP.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of industrial machines/automation systems.
- Technical problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in B2B machine sales and technical service.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
