We're looking for a Developer who is passionate about backend development and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You'll work with experienced developers to build and maintain scalable backend services using and NestJS, contributing to real-world applications that impact users directly.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to deepen their technical knowledge and gain hands-on experience with modern backend development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend features using and NestJS
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to understand requirements and deliver functional, scalable code
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services
  • Assist in writing unit and integration tests for key functionalities
  • Learn and apply best practices for code structure, performance, and security
  • Participate in code reviews and actively seek feedback to improve your code quality
  • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing
  • Proactively identify bugs or performance bottlenecks and work on solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with in a production environment
  • Some experience with NestJS or strong willingness to learn it quickly
  • Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming
  • Familiarity with building REST APIs and basic API security concepts (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
  • Hands on experience with Relation databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) or NoSQL (eg., MongoDB)
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git) and working in an Agile environment
  • Basic understanding of software testing (unit/integration) and debugging tools
  • Strong willingness to learn and improve through mentorship and collaboration

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to NestJS framework
  • Experience with Redis, message queues (like RabbitMQ or Kafka), or microservices
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems or background job processing
