WIFI Test Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Wi-Fi Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in protocol testing and automation of Wi-Fi AP/Router GUIs. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Python-based automation frameworks and have practical experience with OpenWRT-based or equivalent routers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional and regression testing on Wi-Fi AP/Router firmware and GUIs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, PyTest, and related frameworks.
Work with tools like Selenium or Playwright for GUI test automation.
Design and execute automation test cases for OpenWRT-based routers.
Debug, analyse, and report Wi-Fi issues related to the protocol stack.
Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
Participate in continuous integration activities and test automation improvements.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in protocol testing.
Practical experience in Wi-Fi AP/Router GUI automation.
Strong knowledge of Python and PyTest, with exposure to shell scripting.
Good understanding of Selenium tools; Playwright experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with OpenWRT-based routers.
Good to Have:
Basic understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, Routing, etc.).
Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
