We are looking for a Team Lead QA in Testing to join our Quality Engineering team. Must have experience in managing QA activities being it test planning, test strategy creation, mentoring team both from manual or automation side. This is an amazing opportunity to work on various Clarivate products and services which could include automation, performance, manual and security aspects of testing.

He/She should have great skill set in Test Automation using Selenium with Java, API Testing, Security Testing, Jenkins Job creation, Performance Engineering using JMeter and many other latest technologies. You will get the opportunity to work in a cross-cultural work environment while working on the latest web technologies.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS) 

  • At least 5 years of experience in software automation and test frameworks with strong coding & debugging skills in Selenium binding with Java.

  • At least 4 years of experience in the version control system Git or bitbucket.

  • At least 4 years of experience in Java/JavaScript language, test automation frameworks & assisting/reviewing script creation

  • Good with tools like Cucumber, Rest Assured and TestNG framework.

  • Knowledge of Jenkins for automation job creation and execution

  • Familiarity of testing pyramid, understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of testing

  • Familiarity and clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches

  • Familiarity of working with test and defect management tools like JIRA and confluence

  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts with test strategy and test planning

  • Should have lead testing efforts for several modules/products

It would be great if you also have…

  • Understanding of open-source tools would be an advantage

  • Good working experience with GIT.

  • Working familiarity with cloud tools like AWS

  • Strong experience of performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Netload, JMeter or LoadRunner).

  • This is hands on role with skill sets in automation engineering.

  • Work accurately sometimes even under pressure & deliver as per expectations.

  • Prioritizing individual & team's workload.

About the Team   

The existing team is spread across India and includes Testers with strong technical and analytical skills. You would be part of large QA Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP & Analytics.
 

Hours of Work

This is permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break. We have hybrid working model with at least 3 days per week from office which may change at any point based on RTO mandate from Company heads.
