Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategy for Solar PV modules (Mono-PERC, TOPCon, bifacial, thin-film, JB, Glass, IDT etc.).
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard Tier-1 module manufacturers.
• Lead RFPs, techno-commercial evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
• Manage price benchmarking, market intelligence, and supply-chain risk assessment.
• Ensure quality compliance with IEC standards, manufacturer audits, and third-party inspection coordination.
• Oversee contract finalization, delivery schedules, and logistics planning (domestic & international).
• Track shipment status, resolve supply issues, and ensure on-time delivery to project sites.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA/QC, Projects, Finance & Legal teams for seamless procurement.
• Maintain vendor performance metrics and long-term strategic relationships.
• Monitor global module price trends, technology changes, and duty/tax implications (BCD, ALMM, safeguard duties, GST).

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 5–10+ years of procurement experience, with minimum 4+ years in Solar PV module sourcing.
• Strong understanding of module technologies, certifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Experience in international procurement, import documentation, INCOTERMS.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP and advanced Excel.
