Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a DFT Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Whitefield.4

This is a permanent opportunity where you'll be a key contributor to our projects.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and an awareness of project management issues.

You should be able to keep your composure during crises, handle risks and uncertainty, and have a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.

This role requires good analysis and problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to find solutions.

You will contribute to complex aspects of projects, develop approaches to solutions, provide regular updates to the manager, and represent the organization on business and company-wide projects.

You will also be expected to guide more junior peers.

Key Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent understanding of DFT architectures & methodologies, including Scan insertion, ATPG, JTAG, and simulation.
  • Must have experience generating scan patterns and coverage statistics for various fault models, such as stuck-at and transition faults.
  • Experience in Scan Stuck-At and At-Speed coverage exploration, simulation, and debug.
  • Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art EDA tools for DFT, design, and verification.
  • STA for DFT mode timing constraint development and exploration is a plus.
  • Excellent debug skills and demonstrated experience in Perl/TCL/Python scripting is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams across geographies are required.
  • Design experience in MBIST, LBIST, and Analog DFT is an added advantage.
