Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, guest-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent service standards, manage staff, and assist in driving revenue. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in F&B service, and the ability to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor dining area readiness, table setups, and service flow.

2. Guest Service & Relations

  • Greet guests, handle queries, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain strong guest relations and encourage repeat business.
  • Ensure service standards and SOPs are consistently followed.

3. Staff Management

  • Supervise, train, and motivate service staff (captains, stewards, hostesses).
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign duties.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure discipline and grooming standards.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.

4. Sales & Revenue Support

  • Promote upselling and suggestive selling across the team.
  • Support daily billing, cash handling, and inventory checks.
  • Assist in planning promotions, events, and special menus.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to meet revenue targets.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and other departments.
  • Ensure timely communication of guest preferences and special requests.
  • Attend daily F&B meetings and contribute operational inputs.

6. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain attendance, break schedules, and staff rosters.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for stock, breakage, and wastage.
  • Assist in preparing daily sales reports and operational summaries.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in restaurant or F&B service; supervisory background preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹32,500.00 per month
