Role Summary
As a BDO at our enterprise level, you will be responsible for driving high-value, compliance-sensitive contracts with corporate clients and/or regulatory authorities. You will manage the full sales cycle — from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure — ensuring all deals comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and pursue large-scale contract opportunities (with corporations, institutions, or authorities) where compliance, legal and licensing/regulatory aspects are critical.
- Lead negotiation and closure of complex contracts — including drafting agreements, managing compliance and legal review, and overseeing licensing / regulatory approvals where needed.
- Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, operations, finance and senior-management teams to ensure alignment of contract terms, pricing, compliance obligations and business strategy.
- Manage account relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, directors, regulatory leads), maintain long-term partnerships and identify upsell or renewal opportunities.
- Develop and execute account plans and enterprise sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding quarterly/annual revenue and margin targets.
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regular performance reports to senior management.
- Where relevant, lead or mentor junior sales staff or associates involved in presales or account support functions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Commerce or a related field. Advanced qualification (e.g. MBA, Law degree) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in enterprise sales, contract-based sales, or compliance/licensing-focused deals.
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals/contracts, meeting enterprise-level sales/margin quotas.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, regulatory/licensing compliance (especially when dealing with organisations or authorities).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable engaging at senior/executive levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and ability to work in cross-functional, matrixed organizational settings.
