Job Title / Role: Program Manager – Academy for Retail Excellence
Department: Institute of Quality & Leadership (IQL)
Base Location: TVS IQL, Anekal (Need based travelling across business units and field)
Purpose of the Role:
The Program Manager – Academy for Retail Excellence is responsible:
To enable role readiness and performance excellence by designing and managing structured learning journeys for fresh, lateral, and existing employees.
To address critical skill and competency gaps through targeted interventions developed in collaboration with business leaders, HRBPs, SMEs, and external partners.
To drive continuous improvement of the development ecosystem using learning analytics, feedback insights, and on-the-job performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and manage structured learning journeys to build functional, cultural, and behavioural competencies required for role readiness of fresh and lateral employees.
Plan and implement role effectiveness interventions for existing role holders across domains to strengthen performance and capability.
Collaborate with business Managers, Section heads, Leaders and HRBPs to identify skill and competency gaps affecting performance.
Coordinate with internal SMEs and external partners to develop high-quality learning content, simulations, assessments, and practical application modules tailored to engineering roles.
Monitor program effectiveness using learning analytics, feedback loops, and on-the-job performance indicators to drive continuous improvement of learning journeys.
Manage the dashboards of the learning journeys and ensure the reinforcement for the learner's success.
Ensure all the learning resources for the effective learning journeys and successful completion in coordination with all the stakeholders
Leverage the learning tools and technologies for effective training and training effectiveness during the journeys
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of learning solutions offered.
Number of role-ready professionals developed.
Number of new courses designed and implemented.
Effectiveness of learning solutions (L1 to L4 evaluations).
Business impact achieved through identified metrics.
Number of improvements implemented (PDCA cycle).
Qualifications and Requirements:
MBA with 10+ years of professional experience in sales and after sales, marketing, or international business within the automobile industry.
Experience in automobile sales and aftersales, particularly in channel management, is desirable.
Passion for people development, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Interest in training, facilitation, and assessment
Willingness to travel across India
